Suatu ketika terjadi peristiwa mengerikan di Guatemala. Ratusan orang memutuskan bunuh diri karena meyakini ramalan kuno bangsa Maya ini memang benar. IHC (Institute for Human Continuity), sebuah organisasi rahasia yang telah lama menyelidiki ramalan ini akhirnya sampai pada kesimpulan bahwa apa yang diprediksikan ratusan tahun yang lalu itu benar. Yakin bahwa pasti ada 'jalan keluar' dari malapetaka ini, IHC lantas membangun sebuah kapal besar tepat di bawah gunung Himalaya.
Rencananya, mereka akan mengulang peristiwa zaman nabi Nuh dan berusaha menyelamatkan sebanyak mungkin orang agar ras manusia tidak punah setelah bencana besar ini. Di luar perkiraan, pergeseran lempeng bumi ternyata terjadi lebih cepat dari yang diperkirakan para ilmuwan di IHC. Dalam sekejap Los Angeles musnah sementara Afrika Utara dan Italia juga tak luput dari bencana besar ini.
Kini, nasib umat manusia berada di tangan IHC. Jackson Curtis bersama Kate (Amanda Peet), mantan istrinya, dan dua anak mereka, Noah (Liam James) dan Lilly (Morgan Lily) harus berlomba dengan waktu untuk bisa sampai ke kaki Himalaya atau mereka akan jadi korban bencana besar ini. Titanic (1997) BRRip

The movie begins with a scene displaying the R.M.S. Titanic in 1912 a few minutes before departing on its Maiden Voyage. The 2200 people are seen waving goodbye for the last time, unknown to them.The endless waters of the Atlantic are seen sloshing as the title is displayed: TITANIC.
A submarine is then seen lowering into the ghostly Atlantic waters of the present day. Brock Lovett (Bill Paxton) and his team of "Treasure Hunters/Grave Robbers" come to see the spooky image of the "Unsinkable" Titanic appear from the clearing. Lovett and his team divulge into the wreck, seeing scattered remains such as glasses, boots, and masks. The sub goes into a tattered bedroom, looking something. Lewis Bodine (Lewis Abernathy), a co-worker and friend of Lovett uses the mechanical arms of the sub to move over furniture to find a safe, their prize.
They come back onto the surface to a boat where the rest of the crew is celebrating the find of the safe. Brock feels around inside the safe for what he is looking for. He finds paper and a sketchbook, nothing else. He has spent the last few years searching for the priceless diamond known as The Heart of the Ocean, and thought the safe was where it was, but he is left empty handed.

Erin Brockovich (2000) BRRip

Desperate for work, unskilled Erin Brockovich (Julia Roberts), the head of a single parent household, takes a relatively inconsequential job as a legal assistant in a California law firm for low wages. While organizing some paperwork pertaining to real estate cases, she is puzzled when she notices medical records in one of the files. On a whim, she does a little investigating of her own, and comes to suspect that land purchased by Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) is the same land on which chromium contamination had resulted from PG&E's environmentally irresponsible actions.
Examination of local water records and interviews with people ill from exposure to poisonous chromium confirm Erin's suspicions, but pursuit of legal proceedings against PG&E would seem beyond the capabilities of the small law firm of which she is a part. Still, Erin succeeds in making her boss, Ed Masry (Albert Finney), as passionate about the case as she is, and he takes it on. Both Ed and Erin must make great sacrifices in their lives, as the legal costs spread Ed very thin, and the round-the-clock work makes Erin out of touch with both her boyfriend and her kids.
Erin's kids resent the lack of attention they are receiving, and her attempts to explain the merits of what she is doing to her eldest son are futile ..... but, one day her eldest son opts to read one of the many documents pertaining to the PG&E case. He reads of a child his own age who is very ill, and knowing that Erin's work will help this child, asks her why the child's mother cannot provide the needed help. When Erin explains that it is because the child's mother is very ill, too, her son, for the first time, appreciates the nature and importance of Erin's work.
In the end, Erin's special ability to bond with the victims of chromium contaminaton and their families and Ed's legal and administrative prowess are the key ingredients to making the case against PG&E. As a team, they manage to successfully lay the groundwork for the payment of legal damages by PG&E to those harmed.
